Like scared? No. Do the fear the fricking circus that follows guys like that? yes. No organization wants that.
What gets lost in all this is the NFL Prime Directive, dont rock the boat and keep stacking money. The appreciation per year on a shitty NFL team is in the 14-16% range, on a good team more like 20%. Bringing the circus to town could upend or slow the growth. Just not worth it.

Im sure you're right, what with their billions of dollars and ownership of NFL franchises. I bet they lay awake at night in fear of Shedeur and ask themselves how they could become more confident.
