Oh no that is well deserved.

He made a sarcastic comment about the sucs moving up for a kicker. I know drafting a kicker in the second round is odd...but he's never had a fricking kicker. Well, cept 2009.

Bucs kick field goals
We score touchdowns
We score touchdowns

Doesn't matter. That's ridiculous to draft a kicker that early but good for them.

Sean once traded up for a punter.
what did he say exactly?

Auh...you know that comment was a tongue and cheek comment made because it forced the Saints to give up a 3rd and 4rd instead of a 4th and a 5th to trade up.

Throwing shade is one of those terms that got really popular recently that I just fricking hate.

Yeah a fifth rounder the next year for a sixth rounder.
Kicker or punter before round five is full retard unless it's a once in a lifetime player. Then maybe up to third (though I'd never).
These are part time players whose value will never match that.
Unless this guy is a career 95%. I think only Vanderjagt (sp?) even sniffed 90% career and he is by far the career % leader.

He took a punter in the 5th round..
Far from the 2nd round.
Also that year we drafted a punter, he wasn't even the first Punter taken

A kicker in the 2nd round is always dumb IMO

Was it the fifth? I thought we gave up a fifth but took him in the sixth.

We gave our 7th round pick (no issue) and the next year's 5th
So we traded 5ths and only lost a 7th for a punter who was essentially a key contributor in bringing us a Championship with a successful onside kick .
Sean can laugh all he likes here.. It's not the same thing. I don't find it funny. It is a massive reach to take any kicker mid 2nd round, but more power to them.
It also depends on the team you have currently if you can afford this kind of move. Maybe the Bucs don't think they are that far away from competing. Good for them. I would love for the Saints to have a great kicker, but not at this kind of expense. I'm sure most great kickers were drafted late.
