He was just talking about the Saints. Anybody thought that was kinda awkward when talking about Dennis Allen? He said Dennis Allen is a A&M guy and the vibe in the locker room seems off even after a win. Seemed like he was taking an underhanded shot.

Probably, he’s probably thinking I can’t believe they promoted that guy

Sean looked fat and tired. His joke about an athlete taking pain medicine better not get back to Goddell. Sean looked smashed.

Maybe he’s trying to make room for his return.

Agreed. It’s maybe the worst I’ve seen him. Like he aged 10 years in a few weeks

Maybe he's signaling to our front office that it's ok to pull the plug.

He’s just telling the truth. DA is a great DC but he’s not a guy to lead an organization. The faster we cut that anchor and start over the better for the team. It’s got to be done and I would absolutely love him to be DC again but that’s not going to happen but oh well. We won’t win anything with him leading the way. Every loss he blames injuries. That’s a true sign of a terrible head coach.

That's 4D chess to take a break, set up the next coach to fail and then claim your job back.

Sean Payton hinted DA should be next guy. Payton coaching tree is under performing with DA and guy in Detroit.

In Dan Campbell’s defense no one can win in Detroit. They are awful every year. They do have a very talented young roster right now though.

Sean wants DA to fail. It makes him look that much better as a coach

I'm really curious what his strategy is here.

Does he wait for the Chargers to fire Staley and take them up a tier, proving his HOF-worthiness?

Or is he hoping for Andy Reid to retire in the next two years, and plug and play with a sure-fire HOFer at QB?

Nick Saban told Skip to hire Houston Nutt and Sean endorsed
DA to Mickey.Their EGOs don`t want them to hire a coach
that will do better than them.

I believe great coaches know their weaknesses and they account for those weaknesses. DA's weakness is his football personality. He is not the rah rah guy but rather the matter of fact x.o. guy. He needs to find a coach with a big personality that can rally the team and DA. DA can give the "business" speeches to the team but he needs to hand off to a bigger personality to back that message up and rally they guys.

If he does this then maybe over time he learns how to do it himself.

Jim Caldwell could but they fired him so they could get to a superbowl. He won 36 games in 4 years and they've won 20 games in the 4 plus seasons since he was fired.

I’ve been telling y’all he’s a dickhead.

And all I got was blowback from this board.

And one more thing

It is obvious to me that he is not well liked on that set.
