2009 was special but this is hands down Payton's best coaching due to the circumstances with Brees' injury.

He has been a master. I’m not sure there’s another coach, including Belichick, who could have done this job.

Ever since he took that Vow of Celibacy, his coaching acumen has improved exponentially.

Keep in mind that the Vow includes No Fapping.

Definitely an offensive genius.

I know he'd rather have Brees, Kamara, and a full group of WRs, but I honestly think he's enjoying the challenge that today posed. He's wearing the Bears defense out, with a depleted offense. But he knows:
he has a legit O line
he has a bruiser RB
he has an athlete (Taysom Hill).

And that's all he seems to need.

I have been critical of both Peyton and Brees during the past few years and I was very very wrong.
