Gayle has proved with all this restructuring she doesn’t care about the cost. She didn’t make the money, why would she? If we wanted to hire BJ and he wanted to come here, we’d pay that. Not the issue.

There's a good case for it especially if they lose one or both of the last two games.

Going into the season it was hinted at that the organization felt that winning the division was a realistic expectation and sort of a benchmark of this season.

(I know, we as fans feel that winning an shitty division is not much of a statement) but losing a shitty division is a giant statement.

Anyway, it was said that not winning this weak division would be a case to a full sale house cleaning. Time will tell but I kinda agree that DA will e back but he will be forced to overhaul the offensive side of his staff. Failing to indicate that tat will be his plan may trigger Mickey to pull the plug on the whole thing.

The caveat to this is we assume the org has feelers out about potential replacements. Perhaps if they get the sense that anyone interested in the job would not be much of a upgrade they hold fast until they can part ways with Carr and Allen. i.e. after the 2024 season.
