He did a good job of getting the ball over our burnt DB's, but he won't always have the convenience of playing against #26 ranked defense, with Greg "Don't know when to quit blitzing" Williams at the helm. He's an okay QB, but certainly not a stud. If the roles were reversed today and Smith was playing against the 49ers' defense, we'd be looking at a 0 TD and 3 INT's kinda game.

The Packers probably wont' turn the ball over 5 times. The Saints don't do that and they probably win this game pretty easily.

A friend of mine, a saints fan, at my house during the game said if the niners had a qb like brees they would be unbeatable. True. But we have smith...brees is a hall of famer...and smith did well. 14-3 is good. And smith is more than "serviceable". He made some nice throws.
