Just frustrating having the game turn on two terrible calls from the refs (def holding and helmet to helmet calls)

Defense was shutting them down until refs gifted them those 2 first downs.

Winston was always a ticking time bomb but NFL refs are garbage and affect momentum on way too many games.

Great point, but will be lost with the final score.

Ground can't cause a fumble, he had the ball in his hand firmly and hit the ground the ball comes out. That was a horseshite call.

Did you not think the two unnecessary roughness calls on Tampa in the first half were bad as well?

Zebras tried there best to gift New Orleans points before half. It’s football it goes both ways.

I watched Saints games going back to Tulane Stadium but the Rams game where the refs stole a Saints Super Bowl appearance was too much. I stopped watching any NFL game and then the BLM kneeling stuff came along and I knew I made the right choice.

I decided to get back into backing the Saints by following the NFL and today was my first game back. No more. I’m done.

The personal fouls on tampa were actual penalties.

Those being discussed on the Saints were not.

This was all confirmed by Pereira during the broadcast.

Ground can cause fumble if he wasn't touched. Rules expert Mile Perirara confirmed this after the play.

Stop making excuses for the garbage refereeing. The two ridiculous calls were made in a crucial point in the game, and absolutely killed any momentum the Saints had. They were indeed the reason the Bucs were able to take control of the game. F*ck the NFL.

Except it doesn’t affect both teams equally. The refs being bad in general is my point.

Not saying refs are the reason the Saints lost. Had a chance and Jameis threw 3 picks. But those 2 penalties that extended the Bucs drive were definitely the momentum change in the game, not some unnecessary roughness calls in the 1st Q. Maybe the defense is holding is arguable but the helmet call was a complete abortion. Ref incompetence changed the momentum of that game

And just to be clear, I don’t think it’s some conspiracy to get Brady a W in September, it’s run of the mill NFL incompetence

And why wasn’t interception reviewed for trap. It was oblivious the ball went through his hands from the above replay view(the only replay we were allowed to see) but they never reviewed from ground view

Those calls didn't come at crucial part of the game. The two bs calls against the Saints kept Tampa Brady's drive going.

That’s why I stopped watching the NFL a few years ago and I am thinking about it again. The referees are a fricking joke

Gentleman, the NFL is nothing more than a priced SoapOpera.
THE goal of the league is to keep everyone watching.

They give us a few calls in the first half because they know they make the critical calls in the 4th quarter that decide the game. If you don’t think there is influence of the officials from the league office, you’re naive. I’m not even saying that they are out to get the Saints every game, but they can and do purposely make judgment calls according to influence outcomes. Fans often point out right calls to try and make that point, but there were critical calls that were simply wrong in the most critical point of the game today.
