Goat the drama around here has become a constant state of vaginal bleeding. And a good bit of it is from trolling haters who only have an interest in hating on certain facets of the organization and zero desire for the organization to have success.

What a ridiculous cop out statement

Being critical and questioning moves doesn’t mean hating or wanting the organization to fail. Wanting the team to be better than 9-8 and missing the playoffs is not hating. At some point we need to see results to continue to “trust the process”.

So again I ask, what is this master “plan”. They have an aging and expensive roster, the “big move”last year was to bring in a QB over 30. Are we banking on a rare outlier draft like 2017? Other than playing in a weak division what is the case for the Saints being contenders?

If I had to guess I'll bet that our projected wind total next year will be

8.5 edit: of course it could be different we have to see how free agency in the draft shake out

Oh you wanted a developmental qb for a win now roster. That totally makes sense.

Very true. It seems the extremes are winning out around here of late.

Here’s the disconnect the Saints do not have “win now” roster. They haven’t since 2021 at best. They have an old declining roster. Pretending otherwise is not going to change the results nor will making excuses about injuries or blaming some coach.

People are pinning a lot of hope on draft where they only have a first and a second and nothing else before the 5th. Better hit in those 5th round dart throws

Or we could always trade back and try to acquire more picks but I think I would have a better chance of winning the damn Powerball than that happening

14 doesn’t seem like an ideal trade back spot in this draft unless whoever the winds up as the 4th QB is still there.
I’d bet more on them trading a couple of 5th round picks and moving up

I think I am like 0-15 in predicting trade back in first round. I'm sure it will be 0-16 but if we are looking tackle in first round there are a lot to choose from. A small move down with confidence are guy will still be there is possible.

Yeah that wouldn't surprise me at all having multiple pics in the fifth round trying to go back up into the 4th or something.

You know that teams will try and call the Saints and bait them.

Nice. Can now sign Jameis to a 25 year fully guaranteed $400 trillion contract.

He should have been and we wouldn’t have spent 200 million on carr and dalton and Winston over past 3 years.

Yea, you can start w a-hole like Michael Thomas for sure. I mean an organization moving on from drew Bree’s and Sean Payton isn’t exactly an easy task with a shitty cap situation.
