why is everyone so negative? the saints have lost only 3 games. we have a long season so get all the negative bullshite out your system and cheer for our team!!

I cant wait until they're 8-5 in a couple of months so i can bump this thread. I know most of you will be rooting for them to lose just so you can be proven right. Well, ive been pulling for the Saints for 30 years too, through ALOT worse times this these, and i dont plan on stopping anytime soon.

I picked TB as a loss because they almost always lose at Tampa and its pretty hard to sweep a team.

they lost 3 games to 3 teams they had beat. You beat Tampa bay and then lose to a 1-3 one dimensional vikings team with a 37 yr old QB? come on, the saints choked, played sloppy and undisciplined. They get what they deserve. I felt for bush and bress last night. Gramtica, see ya go back to the porno business.

All the negative wannabe saints fans make some of these threads unbearable to read... I know that some people are overly optimistic, and still others overly pessimistic... Having said that i would much rather hear a lot of over optimism, than listen to all the cry babies screamin end of the world.... I have been watchin the saints for 22 years, and lemme tell yall somethin.. This years team with 3 losses looks a hell of a lot better than those teams in the past that have had a beter record at this point in the season..
I dont care what you say.... ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE... All the idiots on here laughin about how wins at tampa bay and carolina and the falcons arent possible are retards.... We sweep the nfc south the rest of the season.... and we pick up a few more wins.... 10-6 with a sweep in the nfc south gets us a playoff bid....
We have been so close to 5-0 rite now, and i know some people say coulda shoulda waoulda... but a team that has played them games we have up to this point, with a little better luck, and maybe onE clutch kick or defensive break up here or there, we are in the hunt!!!!!!!

I agree. All the people on here bitching about Sean Payton being a terrible coach need to get the frick. Has he been perfect? No. But I'll take Payton over Haslett and Ditka any day of the week.
That being said, things are not looking good, but wins against the Raiders, Panthers, and Chargers are not out of the question. If we get those 3 wins and go into our bye at 5-3 (2-0) we'll be back on track to make a run at the playoffs.

Dice- I have been a Saint fan since the beginning under Tom Fears. After 40 years, it's difficult not to be pessimistic. I have nothing against coach, he didn't get called for holding in the red zone, or get his kick blocked back into the waiting arms of a defensive player, & he didn't miss a facemask infraction. I know we have a lot of injuries, but that's just part of the game- we are beating ourselves, & time is running out for the playoffs. Remember, some writers were picking the Saints for the SuperBowl before the season...
