Looking at that depth chart makes it all the more clear that we really need another corner. Not sure if we can get one in the draft, but I think it needs to be addressed in FA anyway.
Currently our 4th string safety is listed as the starting Nickel, and even if that wasn't the case it would be another safety.
And even if we think one of the safeties can start there, looking at the outside corner depth is terrifying. 2 young guys (who have played well, but are still young and mistake prone), a washed up journeyman, and then a bunch of nothing unless one of those guys makes some huge leap.
I feel like every other position at least has one person off the bench that could take some starts (worst case Radunz starts at guard and Ruiz slides to center) aside from edge (although I feel better about Rumph than what's at corner). If we have to start Yiadom I think we are in big trouble.

We need to package a couple picks and move earlier into the 4th. I don't know what the charts say, but to go from 132 to 110 and up would cost what?

132 and 150 (our first 5th) would be exact value for 110. Our second 5th instead would only be 3 points shy.
132 and 136 is near equal value to 101 (we'd be giving a single point) if we wanted to move to the top of day 3 and select the highest rated player and not risk anything

I like the cost to move to 110, but yeah 9 players going in front of us makes you get nervous.

Yeah I think you’ll see them package their fourths to move up for Scott or Kilgore. More than likely Scott. They need depth there. I wouldn’t rule out someone in FA too. But I can’t see them being comfortable with the position group. I think they were just really high on Miller and Delp.
I could even see a midseason trade for a CB if they’re in the playoff hunt. If they somehow don’t take a CB in the draft, I could see them trading a fourth for Kenny Moore or someone like that. They’re not going to sit on their hands and not add anyone.

I’m curious if they do something like a 4th and 5th for Thibodeaux. The article I read said they were hoping for a 3rd, but might consider a 4th and something else. Who knows how accurate that is? I would think they’d want more or just keep him for that price.

Not sure, giants said they’re not trading him… but could be posturing, we haven’t taken a DE and we haven’t signed Cam. Something has to happen.

I actually think we need a boundary corner more than a "star" or nickel guy. Reilly and Yiadom are pretty good nickel guys and Blackmon was resigned specifically to play "star" from what I understand. I like Ephesians Prysock and Delvin Moore as outside CBs in the upcoming round.
There are also some interesting edge players and a bunch of Interior OL prospects still available.
Those are 3 positions with extreme depth in this draft.

We are one of those teams, and we definitely have the home team advantage with him, but it all depends on if a bad team gets desperate and actually ups their offer.
we haven’t signed Cam

Nuss QB (if we move Rattler)
If feel next year would be the year we'd be likely to trade him, if we do at all.

I’d make the call to Latt. He could be a great depth piece

However they best feel the players we end up with fit, we need someone that can come in and give quality starts, because without depth at that many spots (zero depth for 3.5 spots) you are asking for it.
Edge is the only position even close to as bad off, but Rumph is better than Yiadom by a mile and edge is only 2 spots.
