Possibly. According to that liberal cesspool other Saints forum.
Big fan of these but I hope they wear the white pants with them this time.

Here is B-Train's exact post on Saints Report
he used the rumor tag and clearly states that he got it from a secondary source and was looking for corroboration
right now I'd take it with a grain of salt... but I think it'd be awesome... I love when the Saints wear their throwbacks
quite frankly... these throwbacks could be our permanent "home" uniform and color rush be the our permanent "road" uniform and I'd be perfectly ok with it

for what it's worth... for all uniform related items I go to the Uniwatch Blog
so far the only NFL notes they have for this week are the Bills will wear their throwbacks and Broncos will wear color rush
nothing on the Saints yet there... I'll keep an eye out

If they do this would this be the most times in one year the Saints have worn alternate uniforms? It just feels like this year they've worn an alternate uniform every other week.

It's because they look better than the current uniforms. The black yoga pants are just boring. The gold pants are better, but I can't understand why the stripe on the pants can't match the stripe on the helmet. That small change alone would help.
Aside from the mustard-gold being different from the gold on the helmet, the piping on the throwbacks are classics. Black and old gold is such a GREAT color combo. Too bad the uniform design looks bargain bin.

I wish the NFL would go back to where the teams playing on Thanksgiving HAD to wear a throwback
that was a 5-8 year span in like the late 90s/early 2000s where if a team was playing on Thanksgiving Day... they were wearing an old uniform
I thought it was a cool way to add a new sense of symbolism to the holiday
