Sherman today is the modern version of that fmr Stanford and Saints CB Toi Cook.
Give Sherman a blanket and he still can't coverup a player.

He only was burned a lot because the 49ers kept trying to play him in fricking man coverage. Sherm is strictly cover 3. He’s not fast but he’s rangy and can come up and tackle. You need Physical Ball Hawks in a cover 3 system. Which is what the Saints will be running this season. Cover 3 with a mean pass rush kills offenses.

Dennis Allen is a Greg Williams disciple. He runs an attacking blitzing defense. Not a zone scheme.
