Yeah I would have loved that one…until ya know he gets hurt but he’d be more of a Kamara stand in during the suspension

Dude barely averaged 4 ypc behind a great line. I will NEVER understand signing older running backs whose best years are likely behind them when you can get them for so cheap in the draft.

Swift avg 5.5 per carry this year, yet Williams got 262 Carries and swift got 99. Detroit was the 4th best total offense in the nfl this season, so I don't think they dumb. Obviously Williams is doing something right

I love this signing, he’s a pretty funny and interesting guy if you’ve ever heard some of his interviews

This is a great signing. It’s a 2 year deal with the guaranteed money aspect. You can run him into the group for 2 years then move on.
Williams has averaged 152 carries per year in his career, that’s less than Kamara has averaged by a good bit for comparison. He’s extremely low mileage for being 27. He’s also durable, only 8 missed games in 7 seasons.
I still want to draft a dynamic RB, but this is really good.
