Successful teams have a solid “middle class” of players. Williams fits that description perfectly.
Also, please imagine how he will be utilized on short yardage and goal line. Taysom at QB and Williams at RB and they run read option. That is going to be a tough stop for a defense. Two strong arse dudes coming downhill at you.
Hurd and Philly made a living off of their 3rd and 4the down efficiency this year. Maybe the Saints want to a little of the same?
