I know many here will like it but not a fan of restructuring an overpaid G and an aging SS.

Honestly wanted him to be cut next year.

I wanna trade him and find a cheaper option in the next few years.

These moves, some of the moves across the league (dak for example) makes me think this year is the only 'dip' and that new tv deal + rebounding cap means we have the $ to spare

yup
2021 - 185ish
2022 - 215ish
2024 - 250ish

Jerruh knows exactly where the caps gonna be thats why he did the Dak deal the way it is. That deal should tip is off to what the cap will be doing in the future

Extensions for Ramcyzk, Lattimore and Williams should be right around the corner maybe Armstead too. That brings us to around $20 million to go. The rest should be accomplished by cutting or agreeing to new deals with Kwon, JackRabbit and Malcolm Brown to get you to even. Then most likely Sanders is cut or traded and Murray is cut along with Patrick Robinson or they take pay cuts to give you $10-$15 million to sign draft picks, 2nd and 3rd tier free agents to cheap deals and Jameis to another 1 year affordable deal. If more money is needed Taysom can be restructured to give $4-5 million more. It’s not nearly as bad as it looks to be but no way we will be able to keep Hendrickson unless his market just doesn’t materialize which won’t happen. Pass rushers always get paid.

this is the way to stay on top in the nfl. it hurts to watch good players go away. But if you collect compensatory picks, and make the drafts count, you can stay on top.

this is all such a great problem to have.
