Saints players always choose the sidelines

It has to be how they are coached. It is a little thing, but they always head for the out of bounds. There can be one player in front of them and room to the inside and they will choose the 5 yard gain instead of staying in bounds for the 7 yard gain. They chose the 2nd and 5 or 3rd and 5 instead of the 2nd and 3 or 3rd and 3.

Afraid to take a hit and thus have to deal with our medical staff.

MArio Bates was the all time GOAT at running out of bounds.

Little play y’all might have missed
Olave on the 26 yard pass play ran OB when he was 1/1 with a corner
All he had to do was make that guy miss and that was 6 points. Dude beelined out of bounds like a bandit. He literally could not wait to run out of bounds to celebrate his non game sealing play.
3 plays later; we threw the ball on 3rd and 1. The rest is history.

I remember Kamara started doing it he kept getting hurt that’s understandable at times but even he has the awareness to get that 1st.
I see it like this Ingram didn’t want to sacrifice himself for the better sake of his teammates and coaches. That’s exactly what it is everybody else worked hard for this win and he wouldn’t reach out for 1 yard?
We have no accountability other teams cut players for shite like this idc if he was loved you had to make a statement you cut his arse that’s absolutely unacceptable from a supposed leader.
Sean immediately came in and put his foot down. DA seems like a bitch it’s obvious players don’t respect him.

Outside of a few players, this is a league wide issue. Hell, Seattle has a WR (Lockett?) that has highlight videos made of him making catches and giving himself up on the play by just diving to the ground

It’s not really a league wide issue.
We are 4-9.
Obviously we are softer than the average team.
Too much deflecting on this board recently.
Oh look the Raiders blew a lead so it’s not as embarrassing that we did it
Other teams run out of bounds too
We are letting this group of losers off the hook by comparing them to the lowest common denominator
This fanbase, media, etc needs to stop making excuses for this dumpsterfire of an organization
Also, the cool thing about Lockett is he actually can complete a catch, unlike Olave who drops one a week bc he can’t handle any iota of contact.

If guys are afraid of getting hit then it’s time to retire and find something else to do. It is what it is. If you play football, injuries are a part of the game.

This was a big problem under Sean too. Kamara was allowed to get away with it his whole career, now everyone does it.

I don’t disagree, but I think it’s the nature of today’s game.
But that play was ridiculous and he should maybe be cut for that.
Stupid and selfish
