-Scarbrough would add another dimension to our RB corp. Great in short yardage, has burst to break long runs. A hammer to put away games, as well as injury insurance should one of our guys get hurt.

No thanks. I've watched enough of his underachieving arse as it is.

If we don't go TE earlier, I don't mind trying for Fumagali late. Also, if Teuhema passes the maturity test, he could be a GREAT late round pick. He has the tools to be a good OL physically, it's the rest that worries me.

I hadn't read his latest mock draft but i just did because I was curious. Hubbard and Scarbrough are the picks we share. Holder's MO when doing mocks is either SEC, locla or LSU, or popular storyline players (ie Griffin). i admit i did read his first one weeks ago but i dont remember who he had picked.

if not Scarbroug and if they want to target a RB late, look for guys like:

Chase Edmonds RB Fordham. 5'9" 205 Saints have had him in on a predraft visit.

Jarvion Franklin RB West Mich 5'11" 239 4.63 40 nearly 5000 career rushing yards , good pass catcher

John Kelly RB Tenn

Ito Smith RB Southern Miss 5'9" 201 4500 ruYds, 101 career catches

Josh Adams Notre Dame 6'2' 214 long legged thumper with breakaway speed

Kalen Ballage AZ St 6'1" 228 slim on production but great athletic profile, pass catcher

I love the Scarborough pick. Not thrilled about Hubbard but I think he turns into a solid player. I would rather Vander Esch or Payne as I feel like they would make more of an immediate impact.

Solid draft, though. I wouldn’t complain. I also feel we won’t keep all of our picks if there’s a guy they have a first round grade on that slips to the 2nd. Loomis and Ireland love trading up so I can certainly see us doing that again.

I’d like Fumagalli pick a lot. TEs are slow developers in the league, but he could be really good after a season or two. You’d be set up on offense for the post Brees era.

I like it. I personally really like Hubbard. That 3 cone is nice, dude has a lot of bend.

Curious why you have no LBs on your defensive targets? Is it just because we have a lot of LBs now and typically only play 2? Because I think LVE or Evans could still be good pickups there

For the first time in a while, we have more glaring holes and needs on offense than defense. Hopefully we can hit again on an OL because we are super thin at that position. I don't trust Bushrod to come in and contribute solid minutes. Clean up play maybe.

I really think they end up taking Wynn if he lasts until 27. They are desperate for flexibility on that o-line considering the stretch of injuries last year. Wynn could be great at RT, either guard position, or maybe even center. Following next year, Peat will be a free agent and Unger will be 33. Who knows if Armstead can stay healthy, and if not they need to move Ramczyk to LT and find their RT.

Ireland doesnt reach, and the word on the street is that this is the worst WR class in a long time in terms of 1st or 2nd round talent. Im not sure any of the TEs have first round grades either, and I dont see any of those top defensive players falling to us. There should be a number of very high quality o-lineman on the board at 27. Its boring, but I think thats the pick.

I like LVE and Evans both. The addition of Demario Davis eases the need a little. We play 2 LBs a lot. So to me it kind of pushes our immediate need to the DL.

Davis, Teo and Anazalone all graded well when on the field. I think the coaches really like Klein. Craig Robertson played well in spurts, too.

The kid from Memphis I have us taking in the 3rd isnt far off from the guys you mention, imo. Avery could be gone in the 2nd, im just hopeful he might be around in the 3rd

I can get down with this. We need to stay strong on that OL whether it's to protect Brees or make it an easier transition to his predecessor.

There should be some decent receivers to be had in the mid to late rounds that fit what we need. I think FA may still be our best bet here with all other positions coming through the draft (outside of hopefully Suh).

Yep I agree with that. While there may not be any future WR1s in this draft, theres a large number of potential WR2s in round 3 and beyond. Go out this year and grab a Jordan Matthews or Eric Decker on a 1 year deal and develop a Round 3/4 receiver.

good work LE. I don't get the down votes. Are peeps that worked up about who at #27? The votes have turned more into about the poster than the post in some cases it seems. The further down the draft board the harder it becomes to forecast who will be in the pool of those available much less the exact pick.

One of the best things Loomis does is fill the glaring holes in free agency. It may not be a star or guy you want but there are names on the depth chart. So far so good and a Suh would top it all off. This makes #27 BPA all the more.

Ballage is going to go earlier but I like John Kelly out of Tenn late.
Hubbard would be there at 27 but I'm not seeing Bryan urlacher like people are saying
I'd take dj Moore if he's there and address o line in the 3rd

Urlacher played safety in HS, and again safety & LB at New Mexico

Hubbard was an all state safety in HS who was projected to play LB at OSU, who has found his way now to the defensive line.

Urlacher 6'4" 258 4.57 40----6.94 3 cone---34" vert---10'2" broad

Hubbard 6'5" 265 DNF 40 -----6.84 3cone 35" vert--9'8" broad

Not addressing TE until the 5th would be tough but you never know.

Personally I think its our biggest need at this point, and there are basically no guys in FA worth a shite left to pursue.

We really, really, really need a slot WR and a Pass Catching TE. 3rd downs were brutal last year.

Also he is injury prone af . are you thinking of someone else

Scarbrough has yet to play a full season of high school football. He broke his ankle in his freshman season, tore his ACL as a sophomore and suffered a high-ankle sprain last year. All three injuries cut his seasons short.“

He tore his ACL while at Bama and Broke his leg in the championship game against Clemson .

No, I’m not talking about anyone else named Bo Scarbrough. Do your research Lester .
