nfl gave legarrette blount a second opportunity for punching a human. so mixon deserves one too. if his talent supersedes whatever drop in drop that occurs, go snatch his arse up. we need a solid backup to ingram.

Defended himself. Lol.
He cocked his fist back and faked a punch, she pushed his face and then he cold cocked her.
Don't be ridiculous.
He shouldn't pay for this mistake the rest of his life, but I also wouldn't draft him.
I didnt see the part where he faked a punch, I might have missed it. If that was the case then the lady had standing to strike "first". A viable threatening gesture can be grounds for a physical retaliation in anticipation for imminent bodily harm.

And I'm sure Mixon will play in this league. Doesn't mean i want to root for him on the Saints
He also wasn't drafted

You might want to rewatch the whole thing buddy.
She didn't even strike him. She kind of pushed his face away.
A 210 lb prime athlete then punched the living frick out of her with all of his strength.

Come on. It wasn't justified. She may have been in the wrong too, but he followed them into the store after words had already been exchanged.
He then faked a punched, got slapped, and decked her breaking her face.
Sure she shouldn't have touched him, but he shouldn't have followed her into the store, and sure as shite shouldn't have decked her.
And yes, having video proof of the incident will always make it worse publicly. It removes doubt of the situation

Bitch please. First of all that sped up version in the gif makes it look a lot worse. The actual speed version it comes across as very feeble.
Regardless, he threw out a gay slur AFTER following them inside, a freaking girl pushed him, he cocked a punch at her, she sort of feebly slapped him, and he punched the ever living frick out of her.
There's really no defending it.

He was young and stupid and it was a 2 second mistake. Get over it, we talking football

And it would be less concerning if it wasn't for his attitude after it and getting suspended again for another incident.
Like I said, he'll get his 2nd chance. I'd rather it not be with the Saints

At 228lbs, a 4.38-4.45 40-yard dash would imply between 98th and 93rd percentile weight-adjusted speed for Joe Mixon. Would lead 2017 class.
pretty studly

yaeh Mixon is very explosive and looks really fluid when he plays. he's going to do things in the NFL for sure and could be the best back when all is said and done. he's the athlete cook was reported to be

Mixon will be this year's Lael Collins on Saints Talk
He will go late in the draft to New England and go off. Then people will come here and say "Can't believe we didn't take this guy in the ___ !!"

There's no doubt Mixon could be a really good back. I just question that circus that will come with it.

Edit: I don't care that much.
