I saw this on Reddit with the title “Scott Steiner with the AFX "All Gold Cast Copy" version of the WCW World Heavyweight Championship (circa 2000/2001)”. Looks the same to me
Thread basically says the same thing you did, he tricked them into thinking the original was a copy and kept the original
