Saints may have other needs but Verse or Fiske is the correct pick at 14.

Fiske will be a definite Pro Bowler, when that actually meant sonething.

Verse will be dynamic.

Both are can't miss. Don't overthink this.

Are the Saints limited to Florida State players?

I think zero chance Verse is there. Nor Alt or Lathem.

Ah yes. The most wonderful time is almost upon us, the draft day MELT.

A fun pastime leading up to it is the ol underwear Olympics aka the meat market, and the fans falling harder for a fast big man than a middle school girl at a KC dance.

Both are older

When season kicks off:

Fiske 24y 9mo (6yr player)

Verse 23y 10mo

Alt will definitely be gone, if Verse and Latham are both gone by 14, someone very good will be there that should not be.

I'm with you. You can never have too many defensive lineman. Hopefully Verse can fall to us. I think Fiske would be considered a major reach that early, but we could maybe get him at 45. Fiske is dominating the combine, and they say he's got that dawg mentality.

good thing is with the run on QB's the Saints will have options at selection 14

I still say oline is first priority but if some of those dlineman fall then it would be a no brainer as well because the pass rush has to be better and with depth of oline in this draft you can pick someone in 2nd round

Only if you can get one of the top 4 guys. After that its a major drop off.

LINK

This mock has us getting the guy from bama. Easy homerun. I also like Guyton from Oklahoma, if we can get him at 45.

Darius Robinson is an interesting guy. Comparison was Cam Jordan. Versatile edge guy with size.

Fiske was a sleeper pick for me 3rd or 4th round, forget about that now.

Darius Robinson

Nice one. Really like as a 2nd round pick and being compared to Cam doesn't hurt.
