Definitely draft picks IMO. If spygate took a 1st and many NFL experts believe this will be worse, it may be at least two years (including this year) that we don't have a 1st round pick. I really, really hope it's just a big fine.

It's been a rough week. Praying that the front office and our GREAT quarterback have a break through before Monday to give all Saints fans a breath of relief.

anybody think no other teams do this?

Absolutely. Like others have said, we just got caught. Plus we had non-players that knew about it.

Those frickers at ESPN are going off on the Saints. They got assholes like Teddy Bruschi, David Diehl, and Bill Polian crying.

I guess my initial reaction that this isn't that big a deal was off.

This is going to be bad. VERY VERY bad.

I think Marshawn Lynch heard about our bounty program and made an executive decision to NOT become part of it.

Does anyone else think the whole Tom Benson telling Loomis to stop portion of this story seems false? If true, why didn't he fire Loomis for disobeying him. I think thats a coverup. Loomis may loose his job just as a scapegoat to Benson to keep his name clean. Unlikely, but could happen.

My immediate reaction to seeing this on espn: "Ha, awesome"

I really could give a shite. What will happen? A big fine and maybe the loss of a 6th round draft choice at the very worst... worth it.

highly doubtful. people are seriously freaking out over this. it may cost us a player or two but its not like we're losing a franchise player here. losing Nicks would be worse than anything that can happen from this incident.

We are pretty good in the draft, would hate to lose a draft pick or two. But, we would be okay without them.

Why? I think this is being blown way out of proportion. Unless Greg Williams kept a ledger, how are they going to prove anything? This isn't exactly Spygate, where they found the videotape.

Slow news day, no football, nothing else for ESPN to do.

The Saints will get royally fricked. With Brees jacking up the cap and likely no first round picks until 2015 and suspensions all around, we could be facing some hard times.
