They had a chance to get rid of him a few years ago and only a few owners budged. The guy is a prick

1000% this

They’re in the lockerroom, are they supposed to wear a mask while they shower? What about when they take a shite?

So the players who don’t wear a mast during the game interact with the same staff they interact with on the sidelines. One is ok , one is not. Makes perfect sense.

Stick to the script.

You miss where players don’t wear masks on the field? This whole thing is another optics situation

All the NFL cares about is money. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Least surprising news ever.

One of them isn't an indoor confined space.

They've not seen any transmission from on field contact. Been saying that all year. Yet we just canceled a dozen CFB games because of Halloween parties that were more than likely indoors.

Yeah let’s take away an opportunity from a player trying to make a team

But being tested and getting a negative result that same morning does prevent you from spreading it, jackass

You do realize COVID spreads person to person regardless of if you’re inside or outside. It’s not just an inside virus.

Strictly indoor, non-athletic events... well, unless it's outdoor church or a rally for a political opponent

As soon as loss of draft picks was talked about you knew eventually it’d come back to the Saints

The 3rd round comp pick for Bridgewater is what they’ll take, book it.

Spreads a lot easier indoors with circulated air. Just a fact.

Triplett:

quote:

I inquired if there is a difference in the nature of Saints celebration that made their violation worse than other teams you routinely see without masks in postgame speeches, etc. And one factor is that league sent out a memo to all teams Nov. 3 with updated COVID-19 protocols...

quote:

League memo stressed “All players and staff must wear masks or double-layered gaiters in the locker room on gameday—prior to the game, during halftime, and post-game.” Not sure yet if any other teams were in violation. Saints broke rule, but worth distinguishing if they are the only ones

Sounds about right. Goodell has had it out for us since we didn’t lay down and take the Bountygate punishment like good little sheep. He hates Sean on a personal level so he lets it interfere with how he treats the Saints.

From Underhill:

quote:

Broncos, Chiefs and Bills all tweeted videos of players celebrating in groups last week without proper masking. Will be interesting to see if the league acts consistently with assessing punishments.

It’d only spread if someone had it moron.

It isn’t just lurking in the locker room vents waiting to pounce.

The point is the players had all been tested all week, they were deemed fine. Same with the other team. They haven’t had any interaction with anyone during the game that would require locker room isolation
