Saints get a lower cap hit for the next two years, and don't have another hole to fill in the interior O-line. Jahri most likely got SOMETHING out of it whether it be a bonus,just more security, or even just an additional year under contract. And he doesn't have to play in Buffalo next season. I must have missed the humorous aspect of what was said.

Well, that isn't at all what I said. I said we don't know the figures of the contract, but what we do know is:
-His cap hit lowers the next two years
-He got an additional deal on his contract
-And he most likely won't be playing for another team next season. I think most people would have preferred this over trading him for a 3rd-4th, having to use a 1st-2nd to replace him, or keeping him at his current salary and crippling the cap.
Sounds like a good compromise on both sides.

yep.... this says more about SJB than anything..... if they STILL are adding guys on top of the pile ahead of him (both Dixon and Frederick played ahead of him last season, not even mentioning Lewis and Browner), you gotta believe the writing is on the wall...

Another website had Kyle wilson signed to a one year deal.With 16 DBs now on roster an Cb Adrian Davis an exc. rights Fa hope we have no need to draft an Db as plenty of others holes to plug in the draft.
