Disagree. I like big DTs having 50 in the number. Vita Vea comes to mind

I like when DL wear numbers in the 50s, 60s, and 70s for some reason. On the other hand I miss the old NFL skill position number rules.

Nah, I like 52 for a DT. Shades of Randy White (54) with prime Cowboys.

Not a fan of zero, though.

Agree that 88 is nice for a TE.

I know its just me but I cringe for anybody other than kickers wearing 30smthg numbers

DBs should be 1-29 in my dumb opinion

35-40 feels like a fullback. Styles ran a 4.2, gotta be at least low 30s.

No word on numbers for UDFA and new FA like Tyree Wilson, Anfernee Jennings, and Martin Emerson?

I'm in my forties so I'm a little old school, but I'm okay with most of the new numbering options except for the LBs in the 20s, that just throws me off for some reason

ETA , found all except for Martin Emerson & Zxavian Harris
Anfernee Jennings, DE #54
Tyree Wilson, OLB #98

CJ Donaldson, RB #42
Cody Hardy, TE #86
Michael Heldman, DE #63
Alan Herron, OT #70
DaShawn Jones, CB #42
Jeremiah McClendon, CB #48
Mason Shipley, K #46
Keeshawn Silver, DT #61
Jay'Viar Suggs, DT #62
Alex Wollschlaeger, OT #79

The number "0" (if you can even call it that) should not be allowed in football at any level.

P.S. #52 sucks for a DT

I'm a mathematician, so I know that technically it is a number, but it shouldn't be a number in football.

0 is a number.

Btw, that picture is of Ken Burrough (RIP) who was mostly recognized as a Houston Oiler that wore 00 until the NFL banned it. He also played for the Saints. I just remember being a kid and liking the dude that says screw it, give me double zero.
