Saints claimed former Texans’ and Cardinals’ RB Eno Benjamin on waivers today, per league source. His agents, @DrewJRosenhaus and @JasonRosenhaus, also confirmed the move.

Looked good against the Saints. What's your definition of awful?

His story has been strange this year. Cut twice by teams with RB concerns. His production hasn't been bad - 300 yards rushing, 4.1 Y/A, 2 TDs + 24/184 receiving.

There has to be more to the story than people thinking he sucks, but I haven't read anything about locker room or distraction issues. It's odd. He's been kicked around more this year than Melvin Gordon.

He looked pretty good in a few games this year. Caught the ball well for a rb. Would love to know why two teams cut him out of the blue.

Can’t be that bad, since multiple teams put claims in on him after Zona cut him.

Not a great measuring stick to use as we are the worst team in the worst division in the history of the NFL.

I don’t really get it either, he has looked decent when given opportunities during conners injuries

Sounds like he may have gotten into it with a coach (although he denies).

That, class, is an example of hyperbole.

Bet he don’t run out of bounds a yard shy of a first down, with 2 score lead and 3 minutes left…..

Texans sports radio was talking this morning about his locker room presence not his performance.

Certainly not a ringing endorsement

Lovie Smith on cutting Eno Benjamin: 'We just thought we needed to go in a different direction, we'll leave it at that. Sometimes, divorce is a good thing.'

Another complete non-factor signing by the 2022 Saints.

It was a good signing when you consider the saints don't have a backup rb

Regardless of depth, he’s a non-factor. Signing a RB because we needed one doesn’t make it a good signing.
