Just got back and damn was that fun, a lot of pictures I took came out shaky because I was so excited. For the record I didn't see any place where they allowed fans to put on the ring, however there were people there that had the ring on that allowed us to take pictures of their ring so it came out much more clear that the display one.

I was there around 11:00. There was a line for the Lombardi and Beerman. If you just want a picture, you can walk right up to them. The line was for pictures with them and autograph with ML. I excpect a much bigger crowd as a lot of people were coming in as I was leaving. I had a great time. Well worth checking out.

I heard one Marine say that is was the weakest turnout that they had seen yet.

I was surprised at the small turnout. I left work for a Dr.s appointment and stopped on my way back. Pretty much everyone in the office says they are going after they leave @ 4:30. I did however get to spend some quality time with the Saintsations.

I went for my lunch break since I work downtown. I was able to go walk there, take as many pics of everything I wanted, walk back, then go eat in about 1 1/2 hours.
The problem is that it wasn't very publicized here in BR.
I did like that they had the ESPY award for best team on hand.

I liked that it wasn't too crowded. It was nice to get so close to everything and to be able to get pics. Re: the Hall of Fame question, they did have a display for Dempsey's kick (had his boot and the play call audio). Other than that, there wasn't a whole lot other than the Sharper and Brees jerseys, some Rickey Jackson stuff, and the busts of Finks, Atkins, Campbell, etc. They had a uniform from the inaugural season and a little about the history of how the team was awarded. The best part about it was the video presentation on the SB. The only thing that I know for sure they'll be adding soon is the SB ring (which everyone who went to the SB tour was able to see anyway).

I was shocked at the weak turnout, but not disappointed. Short lines and they really made the items accessible. It's nice to have a quality organization provide an opportunity like this to the fans, free of charge!!

Looking at all that stuff on display for the fans made me think had the Vikings won the Super Bowl, they wouldn't do anything like that. Or any other team for that matter.

No doubt, just another reason to be proud to say that I'm a WHODAT! I'm still reeling from today, and last year, and am starting to get really pumped about 2010!!!
