Bad cops are the exception not the rule. I can’t even take anyone seriously when they inverse it and project this thought that most cops are shitty.

Cops are known to support colleagues who are the subject of criminal investigations. Although we might expect guilty officers to defend each other, why do (otherwise) law-abiding cops defend those who have broken the law? Because it's the toxic culture 'Fraternal Order of Police' that spoils the bunch. To include those District Attorneys and Judges' that shields and refuse to hold 'bad cops' accountable which, emboldens their aggression and carelessness for any human life except their own. If there were more 'good cops' there would be more 'bad cops' in jail. The thin blue line is a criminal enterprise, rotten with corruption and thugs!!
Nonetheless, there are a few (20-25%) cops that aren't part of the criminal enterprise and truly wish to protect and serve the residents in their cities.
This may seem objective, depending on which side of the street you live on, race, gender, national origin, income, age, or sexual orientation until you look at the statistics.
