You don't think impoverished areas are over-policed?

Did they address the fact that black officers are far more likely to shoot a black person than a white person? Or facts be damned in this one too?

Any comment from our esteemed captains on one of their former NFL colleagues murdering a white family in SC? Or are they just going to ignore that one?

When are they going to make a similar declaration about black on black crime?

This... When I was a teenager we had a family friend that used to say "poor people have poor ways" which at the time I thought was heartless..

Having experienced a great deal more of life and people along the way I tip my hat to that old friend at how much wisdom is captured in that phrase.

They are not because they cannot use one word, Racism. If you make a decision to pick up a gun instead of a book, blame it on Racism. This country is a joke , every race, tries to blame someone else for their circumstance in life. It may not be your choice to be born in an impoverished area but it is your choice to make decisions to make the correct path to get to where you want to be. Instead of looking for reasons that are not your fault, that you are where you are, make yourself the reason you are or will be the place you want. Take the time and educate your mind.

Also, I'm aware I shouldn't be talking about education after the cluster i just typed.

And he’s going to go to prison for it & it won’t take a god damn 9 minute video to prove he did. I don’t know if y’all are racist or stupid I’m willing to bet it’s both & none of you people would say this shite anywhere near one of these players or probably any random black person you pass during the day. Racist pussies, all of you. Now downvote me & send you best reply I don’t give a frick I know for sure I would turn your face pink in real life.

This means that you think they would become physically violent instead of having a discussion if we did. Pretty racist of you.

Maybe the Saint's captains need a public reckoning over the way black people treat police?

Because I suspect at one point it was a shortened form of pusillanimous. People now confuse it for the slang.

I agree with the captains!

Marshon Lattimore is a wealthy, college-educated black man. If he gets pulled over, the police have absolutely no right to assume that, just because he's a black man, that he's some criminal in possession of a firearm!

... oh wait.

**WARNING!!!** THIS IS 'WHITE-RAGE' PROPAGANDA!! it is primarily used to influence an audience by objectively and selectively misrepresenting facts or present false narratives in order to encourage a particular perception, indignation, or victimization by using loaded language to produce an emotional rather than a rational response to information, in order to promote and publicize their political right-wing agenda, and white supremacist ideology (e.g. Fox News, Breitbart News, Washington Times)

Impoverished areas have more crime

________________________________________________________

Poverty, Segregation, and Inequality.
Neighborhoods with more concentrated disadvantage tend to experience higher levels of violent crime. Numerous studies, for instance, show that neighborhoods with higher poverty rates tend to have higher rates of violent crime. Greater overall income inequality within a neighborhood is associated with higher rates of crime, especially violent crime.

American public schools are divided along economic and racial lines. A recent study shows that predominately nonwhite school districts receive $23 billion less funding than majority white school districts, despite serving the same number of students.

That really doesn't help the point you are trying to make.
