Ticket rep said we will be notified by lunch Thursday. How is it taking this long?
It is at the point of ridiculous now. I can only think of three reasons on the delay:
- They are hoping for a “Hail Mary” of sorts to be able to increase capacity a bit and they cannot configure the seats until they know what capacity they can go up to.
- They are trying to manipulate the secondary market one way or another. Last week, they dumped the returned Bears tickets on Seat Geek and I am sure made out much better than selling them for face value to season ticket holders directly. Maybe there is a lesson in elasticity if they are only on secondary market for 72 hours as opposed to 5 days.
- They are giving a generous deadline to their employees, friends of the franchise (like the Archdiocese), players, and state politicians (like the Super Bowl does) to buy tickets first.

Today I logged on and the site timed out so I thought that they may be in the system loading tickets, but sadly it seems that nobody knows yet.

Dumping the Bears' allocation directly last week tells us this is the most likely reason in my opinion.
In addition to VOLUNTARILY going along with the Destroya to forgo 95%+ of their ticket revenue, there has to be pressure to find some revenue, as the Saints are about to confront the obligation of millions in refunds for those who opted in, in early February 2021.
Maybe they should've fought harder to fill the state-owned stadium?!?!
Nope, they went with "let's just screw the loyal fans, whose money we've held since May 2020." Not refunding money from cancelled regular season games till the end of the entire NFL season is pretty chintzy at a minimum, and may indicate pretty dire financial straits too.

What day was it last week they got those tickets back from the bears? Maybe waiting for that allocation to come back first. It’s def not the politicians thing. I’ve sat in the governors suite for 4 games this season because of a friend of mine very high in his staff. He can’t get any tickets besides the two he’s given for the suite. Their only tickets are whatever they have for the two suites the governor is given. Unfortunately I’m guy 3 or 4 on his list of who goes with him so I’m hoping for a raffle win.

You bring up a good point. There are 153 suites in the Superdome that can generate a much deeper premium in revenue than end zone plaza seats to a season ticket holder (who you are already holding his/her money for the season).
Perhaps, knowing the super compelling matchup that they have that they are trying to sell 100% of the suites first (counting those seats to the allotted 3,000) and bought some extra time to put pressure on folks to pony up for the suite if they want to be guaranteed to be in that number.

Suites don't count toward the 3,000.

My ticket rep told me suites sold out Monday.

Club and Terrace have Rona in it but not a sold out suites level. Destroya logic.

Has anyone been notified they got tickets?

Ticket office told me we should be notified and the event will go live on Seat Geek by 3pm today.

I heard from my source that they are going to let people know at 11AM CT on Sunday.

The game page just went live on Seat Geek. I'm guessing we'll start finding out soon.

If someone wants to form a pair if they don't get tix through the raffle please let me know. I'm coming into town Saturday and will (likely) be willing to pay the market price.
