Man, not everyone is a Pat Williams. Big guys like that tend to have knee troubles by the time they get to their mid-30's. To expect him to play until he's 39 is auspicious thinking.

We probably wouldn't even have him after his contract is up to worry about his age, but like mentioned: I would take 3 more Super Bowls in the 3 years he would be here

My friend Dirty Dave said he heard that Robinson might be trade bait.

i'm not really sure landry would fit in the saints defense...he's a little too aggressive. Greg williams blitzes from everywhere and needs his safties to play behind the deepest recievers. Landry gets beat deep 2-3 times a game

That's also because he plays up in Washington's defense most of the time, thus the reasoning behind them wanting him to gain more wait

Another little angle for why we made the selection is that Drew Brees was planning to announce the pick and the Madden cover, and EA Sports obviously handpicked that exact commercial break to debut their first Madden 11 commercial.

I know that is completely insignificant when compared to possibly acquiring up to 2 new starters, but coupled with the time factor it's just another tidbit.

Another poster explained it better - rather than cramming a blockbuster trade into a 10 minute window we took who Washington wanted and that gave us 24 more hours to hash it out.

I'm hoping it's true - it would be a much easier sell than already giving up on Malcolm who showed in the playoffs and Super Bowl that he has the makings of a very good nickel CB.

I just don't buy that we're already giving up on the #14 overall pick last year as a CB. He improved throughout the year.

That's just it, with Deangelo, Turner, Stewart in our conference, AH would guarantee us owning the division for a long time because of how much they rely on running the rock.

Campbell (especially with the Saints' toys) is a legitimate NFL Starting QB. He didn't have jack shite to work with in Washington.

Wait until you see how McNabb fares this season with that shitty offense. It's going to resemble Cutlerfricker in Chicago last season.

I think he's a starter regardless of where he's at.

He's had like 8,000 offensive coordinators going back to Auburn

A legitimate backup quarterback on our roster. You do know we have Chase Daniels as our backup qb right now...

As much as i want to see chase daniels play i'd rather it be in preseason than in an actual game. jason cambell brings some stability god forbid the unmetional happens
