Shanle took all the air out of the defense with stupidity.

You never hit the QBs head, and even worse you don't grab the dude's facemask like a retard.

Saints defense is utterly streaky. When they get energy, they play well. Once one thing goes wrong its a crap shoot as to if they'll regain their confidence (after the initial TD run) or start folding like this last drive.

There was no need for him to even hit his helmet, it was careless by Shanle. Saints got away with a blow to the helmet earlier when Vilma sacked Warner.

i agree, but not the spirit. he wasnt "going for" his head. he was trying to bat the ball and brushed it. refs have to use common sense sometimes
