I thought Daniels just dropped it, but that was actually a good play by Lofton. Punched it out right at the right time.

Time for the offense to respond.

LB's and Jenkins looking really bad so far. Really hope Wilson and Junior are healthy for the regular season start.

It's not like Tate is a scrub, he's a really good player.

Ok, D got it's "shitty" drive of the game out of the way. Now it's time to dominate.

This is another reason I would have really liked to see Galette/Wilson get some PT. Smith looks bad out there per usual. Just feel like we're missing big time athleticism there. Jenkins also terrible

We got pressure twice, just weren't quite quick or close enough to get to him. We also ran into each other going after the QB, gotta clean that up

Didn't like the cushion we gave their receivers, nor Johnson running wide open down the middle.

Jenkins, lol no way he catches a ball thrown directly to him.

Our offensive drive you can't really critique, their punt was just so great it killed our drive. Didn't like how quickly they got to Drew on the 3rd down rush though, we need to put up a bit more of a fight blocking them.

We really don't know how to defend the zone running.

Saying Ben Tate is a backup is like saying Pierre Thomas is a backup.

They use him alot in that offense.

We just don't have the linebackers for a 34. This has been obvious ever since Ryan was brought in. No amount if defensive genius is going to fix that. All you can do is attempt to mask it.

I disagree. Will smith has stood out as pretty awful.

Scratch that, over pursuit from some LB's, others just too slow to get to the QB, and then a missed tackle to top it all off.

Not looking good defending the run so far. Hopefully we settle in and improve.

We don't want to show these guys to much, we will be playing them in the Super Bowl.

Richardson/Smith as OLBs would have a hard time against a high school offense.

Reason: Neither of them are OLBs.
