I think Savage has been good outside of 1 pass. Y’all just want to hate him.

He’s obviously experienced and efficient. He’s a backup. He’s never going to play, hopefully.

Yeah he may have gotten to his second read only a couple of times. He's definitely "reading the route" as it develops instead of running through multiple reads.

That Kamara missed screen would have picked up 15-20 easily

The tackler is running full speed to make the tackle and he leaves his feet and leans in to make the tackle and the ball carrier is still in bounds. It's a bang-bang play. I don't know how they call that a late hit. What if the ball carrier Broke Free and that second tackler isn't coming in like that to make the tackle? Hill probably drags the second tackler to the first down marker

I know I'm spoiled by Brees, but Savage has had more than one bad pass, and even the completions aren't on target (except that one to Hill). Stares down receivers too.
