Dammit, I'm married to a WI man. I'm going to hear shite about this all year because we don't play them again in the regular season. I can't believe he missed that kick.

Such a blessing to have Big Nutz Lutz back. That’s why I say he’s worth at least 1 extra win this year! What a nightmare last year was at K

Yes, was looking at the Bacchus football I caught from Lutz in '19 and really missing him. Glad he's back!

This is why I’m never against drafting an offensive lineman in the first few rounds in every draft. Without a good OL, your team is shite.

For the more technical people, why did only Book play and not Dalton at all?

he's going to be talking about a meaningless pre-season game all year?

Dalton is a 12 year vet and you basically know what you have with him. No reason to risk injury especially with Jameis still getting back to himself after the ACL injury.

Yeah, but don't they need to learn what he's like to play with other than practice? I think he's going to do very well, but I'd like to see a pass or 2, even in a scrimmage.

Well in the 1st game, he went 5/5 with 51 yards and a TD. Had good command of the offense too. The staff probably seen enough and like I said, you know what you have with him. Now Book? You don’t know what you have with him, although it’s becoming clear

Sorry, it was a bad joke. My husband won't actually give af. He's a bandwagon Saints fan when we do better than they do. My brothers in law will be petty, because they can. Gotta love extended family.

Plus, this second preseason game is the one that a lot of teams are using like the 4th one used to be, playing very few starters. The third and last preseason game is probably gonna be the dress rehearsal like it has always been. it’s just the last preseason game now and not the second to last since they moved to 3 preseason games total

OK, last pre-season game coming up. Will the starting roster finally get to play before regular season starts? Full first team for at least a half.

Why would you want the starting roster to play at all? They don't need to get hurt. I think chancing injury in a preseason game is far more dangerous than "game reps" in a meaningless game. The meaningless games can be the first two of the season as far as I'm concerned.

Saints go 11-6 and win the division.
