Why not make a push for this guy? He's been in two mediocre systems and still has put up pretty good numbers.

I wouldn't mind taking a flyer on the guy he replaced as Drew's backup if he can be had cheap

For sure. Give Marcus a chance in Payton’s offense. Hopefully he can throw it 30 yards.

After this season with a playoff win over Tom Brady no less, the Titans aren't letting him walk away. I could see signing him to a 3yr deal or so and possibly still drafting a QB early in case Tannehil falls off, but he's earned the right to be their starter next year

Push for a guy who has been bad to mediocre? He completed 8 passes against the Patriots.

He’s been absolutely great over the second half of the season. He literally had the highest QB rating in the nfl over his 12 games. He’s a bit more of a game manager in their power running system but in no way was he bad to mediocre. One subpar game in January on the road in NE in the cold isn’t exactly damning.

He was actually pretty solid at Miami, at least judging by his stats. And that is playing with Miami
