How many games this season have been started and completed with McCoy at center and Ram at RT?
I’m not saying Ruiz hasn’t had issues but I don’t see any second year o lineman performing too great given the circumstances he’s played with this year.
Hopefully we’ll find that he’s not too damn terrible once he’s a part of a more cohesive unit.

Every lineman is better when they have good players next to them.

There is some truth to this but at the same time you shouldn’t be getting beat one on one

Bump. The only positive development this season has offered thus far.

Yeah, I gotta say moving him around like they did Peat early on fricked up his development.
Now I'm just gonna say, if he's healthy and consistent it's a good plan to pay him. If he isn't both, you do not double down like we did for Peat.

The announcers were saying during the game how he was killing people out there.
One of the few bright spots this year along with Olave and Werner.

The O-line as a whole is blocking better in the run game.
we are catching defenses in favorable numbers in the box even though our QB situation is uncertain, I guess?
if the Saints can stop turning the ball over, only good things can come from that.
problem is we are dead last in turnover differential. That's mostly on the offense obviously but for our defense not to be taking the ball away? I mean that's shocking. We've got a lot of talent on that side of the ball, and they just aren't carrying the weight like they have before.
We had a lot of guys get hurt on offense last year and not nearly as much on defense. The defense still held stronger than they are now. I know DA isn't the coordinator, but the last few games Lattimore has missed them and then Roby went out the other night with a lot of game left to play. You pair that with a D-line that is underperforming, then that's big fricking trouble.
I get it. Turnovers you can't have them, and I think without Payton here the defense feels a lot more burden on them. I don't know if that's fixable.
But I'd sure like to find that out with our best players available. We haven't had that luxury lately.

Our front 7 has been healthy all year. Pressure generates turnovers. No excuses for the defense this year. Lattimore was healthy most of the year along with Roby and they still have sucked.

Our DL has been terrible at the pass rush

And they have been completely healthy. Like I said no excuses. It’s coaching
