Ruiz only had 3 penalties in 3 years at Michigan

And all 3 penalties were Illegal Player Down Field. No holding or false start penalties in 3 years as a starter. That’s one of most impressive stats I’ve ever heard about any player. Speaks to his football IQ and discipline.

Hard for a center to have a false start unless he does that double head bob to draw them off. But he did play at guard some so... but yeah regardless he’s going to be great

while thats great and all, it means nothing because last year they called penalties even when there were none
if roger give the order then you are getting 25 penalties a game even though no one commits afoul
