I'm sure he will be in no hurry to return. Put him on IR and bring in a UDFA that is coachable. CR is the only RG I've seen to never touch a defensive player play after play. He works hard to not work.

Simpkins should get a chance to lose the job. He's played much better than his UDFA status.

It’s pretty sad, that an udfa rookie can come in, replace your first round pick, and from my eyes, appeared to be an upgrade.

To try and offset some of the bad juju you guys are begging for, I'll say that I am sorry Ruiz got hurt and wish that he had been benched outright rather than injured. All the best to him and his family.
