I think payton loves taysom hill and would start him next year over winston

Taysom Hill is not a better QB than Winston.

The more I think about what a trade would take for Wilson, the less it becomes appealing

First off: You're dumb. Second off: Jameis is a retarded person. You give whatever it takes to get Russ and if that doesn't work, you get somebody else.

Just for shits and giggles, go get an NFL Game Pass subscription and watch Winston's entire Bucs career. Then tell me if that's the guy you want with the keys.

I'll wait.

I was going to write something snappy back to you, but then read the rest of your post and realized you are

Wilson idk man. I think he's a good QB but he has spurts where he just looks like shite. He feels like a game manager that was never as good as Brees ability to game manage. I know he has a few SBs but it was his defenses. He's an upgrade over Jameis without question but I feel like Jameis still has a ceiling. I'd take Wilson but I don't think he's worth what's being suggested.

I'd throw everything at Watson though. Saints would win a SB within his first 3 years here I think.

Very little chance we could get Russ but I think you go get him and worry about the rest later, if you can.

That said, we are likely rolling with Winston and folks need to come to grips with it.

This is crazy talk. Just a good qb?

At the beginning of his career he was definitely a game manager winning with great defenses. I hated how overhyped he was.

Then at some point dude legitimately became one of the best 2 or 3 qb’s in the league, and had a stretch where he may have been the best qb in the league.

Now he has a coach scared to let him loose for whatever reason, which is the reason he is starting to put it out there that he doesn’t like his situation and may want out.

I think the guy would be incredible with Payton as coach, and Saints should be calling Seattle constantly just offering shite until they cave.

Realistically, it could include:
2-3 1st round picks (depending on players traded)
Star defender (Lattimore)
Young O-line (most likely McCoy)
Taysom Hill? (Carrol wants this team to be a running team)

any other assumptions you want to add to this boondoggle of a proposal?

Sorry my hypothetical trade was filled with assumptions.

I'll trade the Seahawks three #1 picks and any 1 player not named Kamara, Lattimore or Ramcyzck.

Jameis is immature and has never grown up. The opposite of a good leader. Led a talented Tampa team to mediocre seasons (6, 9, 5, 5, 7 wins). Turns the ball over like a flapjack. Jameis eats W's and thinks it's cool. And his name is Jame-is.

Anyone But Jameis.

Here's Drew smiling and trying not to slap him.

He gives us a lot of flexibility on who to activate on game day. He also makes plays whether on offense or special teams. He’s not that overpaid.

None of the above.
Move up in the draft and take your shot at your future. Work him in slow with Taysom taking snaps along with other packages.
Continue building the D to deal with the new QB’s coming into the division.
Deal with your dead money for 2 years and then reload.
