Yup, as long as we're not hemorrhaging future picks, we should.
Can imagine us taking 1-2-3 and trading 4, 2 5s to get into the comp range 3rds (looking at sf)
Then do the same with the 7 to move into the 6th.

We need more than 8, imo.
This team is really lacking in talented depth and is getting old.
When you play the salary cap game like we do, you should be trying to add as much cheap talented depth as you can, not less.
That's why I've never understood the combination of Way Over the Salary Cap and Limited Draft Picks.

But it’s not realistic that 8 rookies even make the roster. Why worry about a 6th and 7th round pick when you can package that and get a player in the 4th or 5th that you’re much higher on?
The saints aren’t 2019 loaded anymore, but we still have a lot of really good players. 8 rookies aren’t making this team, or many others to be honest.
