Mates, today I'm visiting a project site in downtown SF and I will be rocking my Saints construction helmet. Hoping to engage in some good natured banter with Niners and Raiders (of which there are still many) fans.
The cute lttle SF Chinaman sitting next to me on BART smiled as I was staging this photo for you lads.
9-8 or bust

Blows my mind that an adult is comfortable going out in public looking like fricking Peter Pan
You’re such a douche.
You’re such a douche.

Are you ornery because my Saints hard hat has the old logo from before 2000? I found it at a yard sale in Seattle and was most excited. I like the old logo better than the new anyhow, mate

So "good natured banter" is what it's called now ay.

Trust me. Nobody there cares. I’ve spent a lot of time in downtown SF. My strategy is always wear a Giants hat because you are less likely to be hassled by a degenerate drug addicted homeless person as they will think you are a local & not a tourist.

I’ve never been to SF, is it as dangerous as the media makes it out to be? Seems like it would be a beautiful and somewhat safe city.

It was beautiful today, TBH. I went to the ritzy retail area and got a cologne match and then bought two shirts at the flagship Banana Republic store. I was looking at my phone trying to find my way back to the BART station and a young black dude wearing an orange vest who turned out to be a SF Ambassador who pointed me in the right direction and we chatted for a bit about the city. He had great pride in it and said that what the media reports isn't really true.
There are a few more vacant retail spots than you'd expect to see in a top 5 US city, but far fewer vacancies than I've seen in Seattle, Portland, Sacramento.
The cities that are just done-zo from what I've seen are Oakland and Tacoma. Those cities are fricked. There is literally no retail in either. I'm staying in downtown Oakland these first 2 nights and it's what people talk about when they mention a "food oasis". There's one Walgreens and a homeless guy got peppersprayed while I was there. I caught a teeny bit of it second hand, which was entertaining and cool b/c I got to experience what it would feel like at about 1/100th the intensity as if it had hit me directly.
All these west coast cities seem more safe than New Orleans to me - I woudln't be scared about being robbed at gunpoint in any of the west coast cities I've mentioned, but I'd likely rank Oakland at the top of the list in that regard (still shy of NOLA).

You ever think that you might be a jinx when it comes to the Saint’s? Especially with those game day “outfits” you used to post on game day.

SF is an amazing city. Don’t believe anything the media says.
