who would want him with that contract and level of production (or lack there of)?
It's time to move him to the slot, where his natural position is based on his skill set.

do you think bush would want to move to slot ive always assumed that he would not want to move there and maybe cause problems keys word assumed

This is the problem. He should be used in many positions. Put him out wide, in the slot, in the backfield. Can you imagine him on a wheel route if he's covered by a LB or Safety?

Don't worry Towelie...
you can still wear your Bush jersey next season even though it smells like gasoline

Sean Payton "loves Bush"
not hard to believe at all. considering he seems hell bent on making him a 20 carry per game workhorse runner

Bush was on track to having over 20TDs this year and he was third in yards from scrimmage before his first injury this year. I think he was leading all RBs in TDs too...
He stays healthy, hes going to tear it up, no matter how good he is up the middle. Hes going to make plays.

I like to compare Reggie to Mark McGuire or Sammy Sosa...He may strike out a bunch, but man, when he hits it, it leaves the park...

Pounding? What pounding? Are you serious?

Payton's offense is a perfect fit for Bush and it's unlikely that the Saints could get good value for him.

Bush is averaging only 3.7 YPC in his career
how is it a "perfect fit"?

People love to tear him down because he's the glamour boy. Pretty, well-dressed, from SoCal, dates a celeb, plays finesse
Or maybe it's because Pierre Thomas does Bush's job better than Bush does.
I don't mind them not shopping Bush, but only if they use him correctly.
And that is as a slot WR, getting at a maximum, 5 carries per game.

if reggie stayed healty this year there is a good chance he leads the league in TD's and possibly MVP
No, there really wasn't.
We won more WITHOUT Reggie then with him, this year and last year. So, if Reggie stayed healthy, there is a good chance, we would have lsot more games and finished with a losing record. He won't win an MVP with a losing record.
Also, 3 of his 8 TDs came on punt returns. That's great, awesome. But to think he would have continued that pace is just silly.
And he doesn't score offensive TDs nearly as good as Pierre, and I really don't have any idea how you think he woulda scored more than 20 TDs.

i was told the saints are shopping bush , per saints player source. i dont want them too , unless it makes the team better but im just relaying what i was told.

you keep saying this. We beat piss poor teams without him. He handed us wins against the Vikings, Broncos, and Washington only to have the team frick it up.
The only decent team we beat without him was the Falcons. The other teams we beat were just pathetic

Saints beat writer Jeff Duncan doesn't believe there's any chance the team will try trading Reggie Bush this offseason.

And the only decent team we beat with him was the Bucs.
Plus, you're actually incorrect. We lost to the Falcons without him, where Reggie actually had a good rushing game, and yet STILL got outplayed by Pierre Thomas.
But, you're right, it's just completely coincidence that we win more, have better rushing, and better passing stats without Bush.
And the Oline sucks and cant run block when Reggie runs, but always blocks good for Thomas.

What part is the joke???
Didn't Thomas average more yards per carry rushing AND receiving than Bush?
Didn't he score more TDs offensively than Bush? WAYY more TDs??
Didn't he get 1 start last year and put up 100 rushing AND receiving, something Bush has never done???
Tell me how Bush has done better than Thomas as a RB, please. There is NO argument for Bush being a better RB than PT if you base it on there production, just none.
