I remember

I remember when he ran away because he had no starting NFL QBs

And he knows you can’t win in this league without a top 10 QB

And he left us with at best second string QBs

I remember that

Do y’all?

SP's entire career with the Saints and the only elite QB he came up with was Brees, and Brees was already outstanding when he was with the Chargers.

Are there really folks who believe that SP is a QB Guru at developing elite QBs? That's fine. I have no problem with that, but, they should know that there is absolutely no evidence in existence that supports that belief.

“Outstanding when he was with the Chargers”
“..absolutely no evidence in existence that supports that belief”

With the Chargers vs (Saints)
Completion % - 62.2% (68.8%)
Yards per game - 209 (298.3)
TD% - 4.4% (5.6%)
INT % - 3% (2.2%)
Y/A - 6.4 (7.8)
QB Rating - 84.7% (101.5)

It’s scary how confident you dumbasses are like, you can’t be any more wrong

The same Sean Payton that in the past traded away draft picks for the next player that would get us over the hump? Only to lose again in the playoffs?

Or the one who signed taysom to that contract and then quit?

Or the one who was tired of coaching but then says he is ready to come back to coaching?

Or are we talking about the Payton who went to the nfc championship his first year and won a Superbowl in his 3rd

Those are different Paytons

Moron. My argument is that Brees was outstanding with the Chargers. I know that he was better with the Saints. He was Elite with the Saints.

My main point stands: there is no stable of elite or outstanding QBs that SP has developed. In fact, Brees is the only one, AND, Brees was already outstanding before he met SP.

62% comp - same as Carson Wentz last season
TD% - 4.4% - same as Jimmy Garrapolo last year
INT% - 3% - same as Baker Mayfield last year
Y/A - 6.4 - same as Jared Goff last year
QB Rating - 84 - same as Daniel Jones last year
Yards per game - 209 - same as Sam Darnold last year

Outstanding company mate. Put all those together and you have a super Brees in San Diego!

Statistics don't tell the whole story about Drew Brees's time in San Diego.

Look, I don't know WTF your point is here. Are you trying to make us believe that Brees was a scrub with the Chargers, then once SP was able to develop him, the SP magic alone turned Brees into Elite Brees?

Is that your point?

Of course that's not your point, because everybody knows that's not true. So, what is your point?

My point is that SP has no stable of Elite NFL QB's that he's developed. In fact, I question whether he has even ONE, because Brees is responsible for his own development, IMHO.

PS I'm a big fan of both SP and Brees. I respect both and hold both in high regard (I was a little irritated with Brees's Jacob Blake episode because he made himself look foolish).

There is one question that answers his statement.

How long did Payton stick at around after Brees left?

Ok a couple more

If Payton was this qb guru, why didn't Jameis turn all world under Payton? Payton coached him a year to teach him before he had to start
If you point to Jameis having a 5-2 record, then why all of the sudden he is this shitty quarterback that y'all claim him to be?

You’re a total bitch.

There’s no way you are these two things:

1) smart
2) wise

Yes of course they don’t, they directly destroy the propaganda you’re spewing

Maybe you can explain how an average NFL QB became one of the best of all times once he got to New Orleans?

10 months

Why didn’t Jamie Martin turn all world under Payton? Chase Daniel? Luke Mccown? Sean Canfield? Garret Grayson? Teddy Bridgewater? taysom hill?

You’re gotcha questions suck, go back to the drawing board. You are the inbred brother of Rohan gravy

You have COMPLETELY discredited yourself due to the fact that you answer my argument by posting quotes from SOMEBODY ELSE but not me, and then you argue against THOSE points.

You are bad at this.

Drew Brees was just an average scrub QB in San Diego? Is THAT what you expect people to believe?

Drew Brees had a record of 30-29 with the San Diego Chargers in his career.

Those are the facts.

I’m glad he’s gone

And we will have a better chance at winning another SuperBowl without him

That’s why he quit

He even knew he couldn’t win another SuperBowl with the QB situation that he left us
