Average scrub? It’s says average NFL QB
Average is average. He averaged 209 yard 1.4 TD & 0.9 INT per game for the Chargers and won 51.7% of his starts.
So how did he go on to lead the league in completion% 6x, yards 7x, TD 4x etc etc with the Saints? Must’ve gotten a bionic shoulder from Dr Andrews!

You do realize that while you were trying to be a smartass towards me you actually proved how dumb you are and proved 3 of my points while reinforcing another.
1. Payton didn't make Brees.
2. I only listed Jameis but you listed a list of quarterbacks he couldn't develop.
3. That if people disagree with y'all's group, y'all try to result to personal attacks because y'all can't support your argument.

How did Brees go from an average QB in SD to top 5 of all time in NO?
A QB still needs a foundation of physical tools and the mental capacity to grasp concepts in order to be “developed”. Where they failed was identifying those prospects. But that still doesn’t change what they did with Brees.
