Stop with the dumb conspiracies. He told the browns and panthers they weren’t in the running anymore. If he truly made up his mind he would have notified the saints already. Announcing who he would waive his no trade clause for doesn’t mean he has to be traded immediately. If he was truly waiting on the falcons to trade Ryan then he could just announce his decision. They don’t have to go through with the trade until Ryan is traded.
On top of that, with Ryan’s cap hit it’s going to be really hard to trade him.
There are a lot of things still in the saints favor. Let’s just kick back and enjoy this ride. We have a 50/50 chance of getting a young top 5 QB by Monday

Or... If he tells the saints that he chose atlanta, the falcons lose all of their leverage in trying to trade Matt ryan, which is required. Conspiracy or not, telling the saints that they are out absolutely hurts the falcons

It is not a conspiracy theory. These are just plain facts. I don't know how you cannot see them.
1) falcons absolutely have to part with Matt Ryan to do a deal with Watson
2) if falcons are the only team left right now and every other team has been eliminated, their ability to trade Matt Ryan gets incredibly difficult. They lose a lot of leverage and likely have to eat a lot of his cap number.
It does not matter which team is left. So long as one team is left the falcons have the ability to slow play trade options with other teams on more friendly terms. Again, that is not a conspiracy theory. That is simply a reality.

They will get screwed trying to move Ryan regardless. Who is taking on that contract at his age? Him having the Saints in play won’t change that these other teams aren’t dumb. They will have to eat the majority of that contract and won’t get much for him.

Really? So teams won't be thinking that "this is dragging out because the falcons need to offload Ryan, lets use that leverage to our advantage"?
There is no scenario where knowing "he is going to Atlanta so they have to trade Ryan" vs thinking "he is stalling so Atlanta can trade Ryan because they have to" will impact the trade negotiations for Ryan. Only multiple serious suitors or an idiotic front office will do that.

We need to stop saying this, its not true. Ryan isn't being shopped unless they are getting Watson, teams know this. There is nothing keeping Watson from making his intentions known, it doesn't hurt Atlanta's leverage.
Watson and Thomas share the same agent, if Watson had made a decision he'd tell his agent. His agent then would tell Thomas, Thomas would tell Loomis. The dude's still undecided

Tuesday and Wednesday I kept refreshing Saints talk and twitter every 15 minuted throughout the work day. At this point, ill wait til a buddy texts me the results.

There is no scenario where the agent tells MT before he tell Loomis. Loomis is doing the deal, not MT.

If Watson picks Atlanta its in Thomas and his agent's best interest for the agent to let his client (MT) know he and his team won't be getting Watson.
Now if he picks the Saints then yes he'd go to Loomis first.

Watson’s agent doesn’t want to get a bad reputation for doing something like you are suggesting. Especially since he represents somebody on the saints who is a pretty big client. Your reputation does matter in these things. Stop trying to create the worst possible narrative. Maybe he does choose Atlanta. But Atlanta will need to shop Ryan and add some weapons before Watson picks them over the saints. I think this time stall is to give Atlanta a chance to do that. I’m sure they told Watson that they would build this amazing team around him.
