Man, I'll always love and appreciate Reggie for how he helped propel this franchise. He never quite lived up to the enormous hype that surrounded him but he helped us get a ring so he did fine in my book. For every 5 head scratching plays, he had a dazzling play where he left you astonished. His 4 TD game against the 49ers in 2006, the leap against the Steelers in 2006, punt return TD against the Bucs in 2006, punt and kickoff TD's against Vikings in 2008, the catch he turned into a ridiculous TD against the Bears in NFC Championship game, the spacewalk against the Dolphins in 2009, and the best game of his career against the Cardinals divisional round.

One of my favorite ever saints. I’ve never been as hyped for drafting a player as I was when we took him.

Man I love Reggie so much, some of the most exciting plays I’ve seen

I was just thinking of this the other day when talking about the versatility of Kamara.
Bush was our first one in that mold in the Brees/Payton era and a big part of our success in those years. He deserves it and I’ll always remember him as a Saint. Come on home Reggie, bring the wood and lead the team onto the field...one last time!

As excited as I was about RB, and he did eventually figure out how to run the ball betwene the tackles in the NFL, I am more excited about AK.

I always wish we would have brought him back in those later years, even as a sole KR/PR type deal.
I'll never be one to say "he didn't live up to the hype." To me, if you're a key piece of a team winning a Super Bowl, you've done just that.
Wheoever posted about the Reggie chants when he was back ready for a punt just gave me chills remembering that.

same here, but I think it'd be a nice touch to sign him to a two or three week contract...have him lead the team out on Christmas Eve against the Dirty Birds!!!! there may be a spot or two where he could come in useful...

Yap. Him and Ricky Williams
Bush was a beacon of hope and a big part of turning around the organization. We didn’t really know who sean Payton was or that drew would end up being one of the best ever. But memories of bush at usc were fresh in our heads and we thought he could be the start of something special
I’d love to have him with the org in some role

That run against Az in the playoffs was one of the best I have ever seen. Absolutely destroyed the defense.

As you and Gino mentioned we needed Reggie Bush at the time. Team was a complete mess in 2005. He brought swag and what was the start of being elite and eventually competing with Dallas for America’s favorites team.
I mostly mean that I think AK is doing what RB wanted to do early in his career.
I agree too, at the time RB moved on he really figured out how to play every down and utilized his unique skills.

We obviously don’t have a clue who to use as a KR/PR I don’t see why just for the hell of it have him do it

Tommy Lee looks to have that spot secured.

Was there for his 4 td game against San Fran rookie year. Time flies.

That Vikings game on Monday night in 2008 was special. He had 2 punt returns for TDs & should have had a 3rd if he doesn't stumble over his own feet.
2008 vs Vikings

I still laugh at Jo-Lonn Dunbar's celebration after that huge crack block on the return every time I see it

Surprised he's not on TV yet, he was always polished with the media.
