Iirc Deuce was brought back as honorary captain.
And it wasn't that Reggie ran out early (he ran out when he was supposed to). It was that he ran out with the bat at all. It was supposed to be a behind the scenes motivation thing. Payton gave him a bit for it too.

Are people really still butthurt about Reggie's meaningless tweet, comparing him to Mike Evans? MT was in the wrong for making it personal which is why he deleted his tweet. Reggie is always a Saints supporter on national TV.
