That’s what’s kind of funny about this thread. There is a subset of Carr fans on here who seem to have taken it upon themselves to bash Rattler like it’s somehow retribution for being wrong about signing him at the time.
Carr is a career loser for the most part that you can make any number of excuses for. He’s made an hair under 200M dollars and has made the playoffs exactly once being in the league nearly a dozen years. Rattler is a 5th round rookie with flashes of arm talent playing on a practice squad version of an nfl team in each of his starts. He will likely settle in as a backup once he learns the nfl a bit and may end up being a guy that can hold a decent team together for a few games if the starter goes out.
It’s hilarious.

Not taking up for him, but consider. His starting receivers are out for the year. His rb/TE/ Slot receiver is out. Kamara is injured. McCoy has been hurt all year. Your top receiver was picked up off the street around mid season, and the head coach is canned at mid-season.

Denver had the 6th most space
Both were equipped to supplement rookie QBs. Not to mention they just got really good QBs. If our roster was any good we wouldn’t be a 5 win team. Our whole organization has been chaotic

Could be. Most of the ones he was playing with yesterday have had multiple seasons in the nfl though. His cast certainly isn't good, but he's not either. If Carr isn't the qb next season, we have to draft a guy.

You are absolutely crazy dumb if you think either of those teams were worse than the Saints team that was on the field Sunday.
And, it's equally dumb to compare the 5th round pick with two first rounders.
