Off the foot of the causeway. Which one of you baws is taking one for the team and pulling fire alarms @2am, hiring hookers Lawrence Taylor style, arsenal of fireworks on the rooftop of Lakeway 1 @3am, getting the largest speakers we can find playing U2/Green Day, “The Saints are Coming!” all night long?

People's Health is in that building and they sponsor the Saints... Wonder how much advertising they would get if the Saints went to the Super Bowl?

This seems hard to believe. A 3.5 star Marriott in Metairie? Most teams stay at the Ritz Carlton on Canal.

some teams choose to not stay downtown to limit potential distractions

I reckon it's because there are no drunk pedestrians in that area who may be tempted to walk in and pretend to be a guest just to pull the fire alarm in the middle of the night.

Anyone who accomplishes such a feat will have to drive there and park. Not saying it isn't possible, bit it would be far more difficult in that location than anywhere downtown.

From what I’ve read, most stay at the Marriott on Canal or the Hyatt Regency.

This shouldn't require further explanation why they don't want their team staying downtown before the biggest game of the year

Dude, do you think the only rabid Saints fans are downtown? There are neighborhoods near that property and about 50,000 people will pass right next to it going or coming across the Causeway tomorrow. Pretty easy if you wanted to try.

Don't want to be like AP and get fried shrimp grease on your hands and fumble the ball a few times.

a NOLA judge will probably be lenient. Someone without a job should do it just in case though

the neighborhood nearest is very upscale, I'm probably the only a-hole in the neighborhood who would do such a thing

The Rams bit off more that they can chew with those comments about the fans.

The Lakefront bike path is right there....

1) Ride to the hotel on the bike path
2) Leave bike on lakeside of levee
3) Run to Hotel
4) Pull fire alarm at 3am
5) Run back to your bike
6) Ride like Lance
7) Post Pics
8) Become a TD legend

So if you were to start popping fireworks at your house or at a nearby park around midnight.....or whatever.
