When is the last time we even had a decent dependable second receiver.

After TQ Smith's game last year against the Eagles I was super hyped about him. But he has disappointed since. Virtually disappearing in games or staying injured. Had high hopes for him.

Ginn had almost 800 yds in 2017. He was injured last year.
I think Moore only had 1 season over 800.

i dont know why payton hated him but he didnt want to pay him and seemed to be trying on purpose to make him feel unwanted here despite him being our consistant #2 serious threat that always produced
yet every time his contract came up they offered league minimum and nothing more despite his having proven to be a great receiver for us. sure maybe he wasnt pro bowl level but the man was a baller who came to play on game day and always found ways to get open.
i never understood why he was always treated like a red headed step child here
